This one, the Elise 30th Bird-day Coloring Book. was created in honor of the matriarch of the avian ambassadors we care for (She is now going into her 33rd year of life). Elise has retired from her duties as an ambassador, and is living the red carpet treatment in a beautiful mew with views of the Black Hills forest. There are a limited number of these coloring books available. It includes 8 pages, and every one features Elise, the red-tailed hawk.
The other, the Raptors Coloring Book was created as an Eagle Scout project by Daniel Dunnigan of Rapid City in 2021. Daniel’s work was first available at our inaugural open house at the new facility in late October 2021. The demand was so high for these coloring books that we decided to offer them to everyone. It includes 20 pages, and the diversity of raptors includes hawks, owls, falcons, eagles, and vultures.
