We understand two things…that sometimes we are not allowed to publicly say how we really feel about a person who has wronged us. And yet, the need for a bit of gentle revenge would feel…OOOHHH…SO GOOD.

The second thing we understand is that predatory birds, like the avian ambassadors we care for, must eat. Our Valentine’s Day fundraiser, Rat for a Rat, satisfies both needs – yours and ours.

You get the satisfaction of knowing that a hawk or owl has eaten well, in honor of someone you would rather forget. We get to insure that our food budget for the year stretches, while providing high quality meals for the raptors.

There isn’t a much better win-win that we can think of.

The price of a rat is $5.00.  This year’s goal is to raise $2,000 for the bird food fund, or the equivalent of 400 rats.
