We’re thrilled to be part of the second annual Day Of Giving in South Dakota!

On Tuesday, December 3, neighbors across the state are encouraged to donate to the hundreds of sensational nonprofit organizations in our area. The event is organized by South Dakota Gives, and 100% of money donated through their website goes to the nonprofits registered with them.

Are you a night owl? The opportunity to donate begins at midnight on Monday the 2nd!

Are you a diurnal hawk? Donating continues throughout the day on Tuesday!

Are you a perpetually exhausted pigeon? Well, take a nap whenever you can get it, but you’ll have until midnight on December 3rd to contribute to the Day of Giving.

You can find our donation page on their website here (and be sure to check out the incredible work being done by other local nonprofits!)

We are so thankful for those who have supported our work this year. Because of you, visitors to Custer State Park have learned how far owls can really turn their heads around. Students in Wall have had a falcon in their classroom. An injured golden eagle found on the ground in Rapid City was able to be rescued and transferred to experts in Pierre for recovery.

But… what if we didn’t have to drive injured wildlife all the way to Pierre? What if Rapid City had a dedicated facility that not only housed education birds, but had everything it needed to rehabilitate wild raptors? We are in the process of building a facility to do just that. No longer will we be working out of volunteers’ backyards.

Your gift on the Day of Giving will help us build, grow, and do even more for the wildlife and people of South Dakota.
