DESCRIPTION:“Owl”-O-Ween Celebration and Trunk-or-Treat\nJoin the Black Hills Raptor Center in celebrating “Owl”-O-Ween on Saturday\, October 25 at the Black Hills Raptor Center facility\, 15256 EAST Hwy 44\, Rapid City. Families are invited to make a reservation and explore the world of owls and other raptors. \n \n \nBlack Hills Raptor Center volunteers will be at the facility with candy\, activities\, and education birds for participants to meet. Families can go Trunk- or- Treating\, dissect owl pellets\, make an owl related craft\, take family photos with a wizard\, enjoy a scavenger hunt\, and snuggle black cats from the BH Humane Society. There will be guest raptors from Falconry and Raptor Education group and Reptile Gardens! \nParticipants can also stop by the new the treatment center\, and take a tour. It is almost complete! There also be will be a cookie for every child. \nReservations are required to help us keep the numbers of people on site manageable. The event is free\, with a free will donation encouraged\, or donation of a bottle of unflavored Pedialyte\, Dawn dishwashing soap\, or a roll of paper towels. These items are all critical to our ongoing efforts to care for injured and orphaned birds of prey. \n \nClick here for your reservations!\n
